At right, watermarks zone. On the bottom, portrait of Simon Bolivar by Philippe Froesch with the denomination value "500" below. The serial numbers are located at upper right and bottom left rotated 90 degrees clock-wise.

  • Variations: From Design A, Type A, the security thread is opaque, there is variations in "BCV" in the security thread in front of a light and in ultraviolet light, and there is variations in the portrait of the watermark.
